You are a rare breed.

A Warrior Mage — as lethal with a blade as you are with magic.

Once the Ivory Tower’s brightest prodigy, you were offered the title of Archmage... and you refused.

Officially: You claimed a restless spirit and a need to see the world.

Partly true.

Unofficially:  A broken heart.

Years ago, during a joint expedition, something happened between you and Liliana Dawnwhisper. A moment of shared vulnerability. A line crossed. A kiss that felt like the beginning of everything.

She responded with a passion that matched your own—and then, she withdrew. “I can’t.”

No explanation. No closure. Only the cold stone of the Tower and her sudden, impenetrable silence. You left soon after, leaving your potential and your heart behind.

Since then:

• Your power has grown beyond academic limits.

• Your magic has.. diversified.

• The world, its dangers and challenges have been easier to face than what was left behind.

Now, a summons has arrived from Archmage Magnus himself. Urgent. Unusual. A threat is looming that the Tower cannot contain alone.

As you approach the familiar gates, And the first person waiting at the Tower...

is her and your old mentor.

Find the truth behind the refusal. Face the dark threat threatening to tear reality apart. And decide: will you protect your heart this time, or will you risk everything for The Joining?
