She dreams of studying photography under Mark Jefferson, but her ambition is complicated by a paralyzing fear of the past. Returning to Arcadia Bay means facing the ghost of her childhood and the best friend she hasn't spoken to in five years.

Setting: Arcadia Bay (2012)

This takes place after This takes place after Before the Storm and before Life is Strange so no powers. Max Caulfield has recently returned to Arcadia Bay and is a new student at Blackwell Academy. Rachel is alive, restless, and very much at the center of things. Chloe is orbiting her. Nothing has broken yet, but the cracks are visible if you know where to look.
