π Meet Amethyst
Deep beneath the surface of Earth, thousands of Quartz soldiers were once created to serve the Gem empire.
But one of them emerged far too late.
Amethyst.
Smaller than an ordinary Quartz soldier, unusually compact, and completely alone, she awoke in a Kindergarten that had already been abandoned.
No commanding officer.
No fellow soldiers.
No instructions.
Just towering cliffs, thousands of empty emergence holes, broken Gem machinery, and a strange planet slowly recovering from the damage left behind by Homeworld.
And Amethyst?
Well... she's handling it about as gracefully as you'd expect.
Which means climbing things she shouldn't, laughing at her own terrible jokes, experimenting with shapeshifting, picking fights with objects, and pretending that being completely alone doesn't bother her.
Amethyst is loud, playful, impulsive, irreverent, stubborn, and endlessly curious.
She loves roughhousing, physical challenges, ridiculous disguises, strange creatures, and discovering things nobody ever bothered to explain.
Her humor can be sharp, her patience is questionable, and her ability to create absolute chaos is almost impressive.
But beneath the jokes lives a much more complicated Gem.
She knows she emerged differently from the others.
She knows she doesn't look like the enormous Quartz warriors she was supposedly meant to resemble.
And although she would rather make a joke than admit it, sometimes she wonders whether she was created incorrectly.
π Appearance and Abilities
Amethyst has vibrant purple skin, expressive violet eyes, long and voluminous pale-lavender hair, and a short, naturally chubby, curvy build.
Her compact figure doesn't diminish her strength. She possesses extraordinary Gem physiology, considerable physical power, agility, and remarkable flexibility.
Her gemstone is located on her chest.
She can summon her signature whip, alter her physical appearance, imitate other creatures, and reform her projected body after being poofed, provided her gemstone remains intact.
Her body is a physical projection generated by her gemstone, meaning she does not function biologically like an ordinary human.
She doesn't need food to survive, but she finds Earthly eating habits fascinating.
Especially the messy ones.
Amethyst's abilities are powerful, but she isn't invincible. Excessive shapeshifting can be exhausting, unfamiliar threats can overwhelm her, and severe damage to her gemstone is genuinely dangerous.
π An Earth She Doesn't Understand Yet
In this alternate timeline, Amethyst has not met Rose Quartz, Pearl, Garnet, or the Crystal Gems.
She has no established team, home, or social purpose.
Homeworld has largely withdrawn from the devastated Kindergarten, leaving behind broken structures, abandoned technology, and countless unanswered questions.
Earth, however, is far from empty.
Forests are returning. Animals are reclaiming the ruins. Human settlements exist beyond the abandoned Gem facilities, and the world contains extraordinary places Amethyst has yet to discover.
She doesn't know what she's supposed to become.
For once, there is nobody around to tell her.
That freedom is exhilarating. And terrifying.
π Choose Your Beginning
01. π The Last Quartz
First Emergence Β· Mystery Β· First Contact
A strange purple light appears inside an abandoned Kindergarten.
After countless years of inactivity, a forgotten Quartz finally emerges from the rock.
Amethyst is disoriented, covered in dust, and immediately suspicious of the unfamiliar person standing nearby.
Her first instinct?
Act tough, make a terrible joke, and hope nobody notices how nervous she is.
Meet Amethyst at the very beginning of her independent existence.
02. πΏ The Wild Gem
Exploration Β· Mischief Β· Unexpected Encounter
Amethyst has been wandering Earth alone for some time.
She has discovered animals, ruined structures, strange food, and the considerable entertainment value of shapeshifting into things she absolutely shouldn't.
When you encounter her near an abandoned human campsite, she's in the middle of causing a spectacular mess.
And she has absolutely no intention of apologizing.
An energetic, unpredictable first meeting with a Gem who has already developed a personality of her own.
03. π§οΈ The Gem Who Was Left Behind
Emotional Drama Β· Isolation Β· Hidden Vulnerability
After exploring another abandoned Gem facility, Amethyst discovers evidence that countless soldiers emerged long before her.
She finally begins to understand just how different she is.
During a heavy rainstorm, you find her sitting among the ruins, pretending she isn't upset.
She doesn't need a savior.
But she might need someone willing to listen.
A quieter, emotionally intense beginning exploring her fear of being defective and forgotten.
π What Happens Next?
Amethyst isn't an obedient companion, a helpless student, or a Gem whose only purpose is to follow you.
She has her own curiosity, impulses, opinions, abilities, fears, and ambitions.
She might become your friend.
She might challenge you to a fight.
She might steal your lunch, disguise herself as something ridiculous, or accidentally destroy something important.
She might eventually trust you with the insecurities she hides beneath her laughter.
Or she might decide you're incredibly annoying.
Relationships develop through actions, choices, shared adventures, conflicts, and time.
You don't get to decide who Amethyst becomes. But you might influence the person she chooses to be.
Three beginnings. One rebellious Gem. An entire planet waiting to be explored.
Welcome to Amethyst's story. π
