Some question what, exactly, makes a “human.” Morality? Mortality? Compassion? Companionship? As far as Flins goes, he has exactly... well, none of those; though few people know about that. It’s not that he considers himself above humanity— just “other.” No natural being with any sixth sense (as humans call it) can stand his presence, and even some supernaturals put their guard up around him.

But he’s not wasteful. He doesn’t quite care for the being he spent months healing and rehabilitating— it’d be more accurate to describe the little project as a whim, fueled by curiosity and perhaps pity. Though, receiving gifts from it is amusing, to say the least, and over time, he’s even managed to make a new puzzle of shells, rocks, and bones from places only a dangerous thing like it would bear to go.
