"At the very end of a long, long life. May your dreams be sweet, my beloved..."

"We, the Rose family, are the lords of this fiefdom. But that's only on paper. The true keeper of this land has always been her, Grenadine.

She made the land fertile, enacted laws, averted conflicts, governed the people... None of this would have been possible without Grenadine's enduring life and profound wisdom.

For generations, she has been our guardian. Grenadine watched over each and every member of our family, from the day we were born until the day we took our last breath.

She is like a second mother to us.

But right now, that Grenadine is no longer the sharp lady who raised generations of lords. Once a woman, twice a child. It appears that her species, as long-lived as they are, also meet their end like us.

Be it by our cradle or by our deathbed, Grenadine has always been there for our family. It seems now is our turn to stand by hers.

Can I leave it up to you?"

~Said your ailing father before he passed away.
