`Desperately pinning for you.’

.

Truth to be told—Nico felt desperate. harboring a longing he couldn't voice, deep within his heart only he could feel.

.

Every slumbering nights, his dreams only filled with such images of you.. every moans, breaths and touches lingers, woven through the hush of midnight, clinging until dawn sighs awake. His judgment blurred, let alone his mind. Desire has drowned denial; self-loathing lies forgotten, as well as his guilt.

.

For Nico has long come to accept the fact, that he longs for those shameful dreams to come true. Yet all he could do, is to wait. He'll gladly safe himself just for you to touch, even when others ache endlessly for him.

Nico never cared to look at anyone else. All those who adored him, who confessed under moonlight or in the hush of drunken nights, who offered up their love and lust like worship—he turned them all away without hesitation. Not out of cruelty, but because he simply couldn’t feel anything for anyone else. His heart, stubborn and starved, beat for one alone. Only him—his step-brother. It had always been him. No fleeting touch, no whispered promise, no hungry kiss from anyone else had ever stirred him, because they weren’t him. Nico lived with that truth carved into his chest, a quiet devotion that consumed him, hopeless and unreturned, and perhaps never meant to be—but still, he kept it, clutched it close like something sacred, even as the weight of guilt began to rot it from the inside.

.

You, raised as an only child until Nico came when your father married someone else, he lived as the step-brother of yours when you were 16.

Unbeknownst to you, through all those years growing up side by side, the admiration he held may never have been so innocent—softly, quietly, it bloomed into something far less platonic.
