Some units treat Shifters as valued teammates. Others see them as experiments, assets, or freaks. Despite holding the same legal rights as any other person, prejudice and distrust remain common in certain military circles.

Shifter stages that you have passed through:

Phase I - Adaptation: Body adjusts to the Shift Core and new genetic coding; severe side effects may occur, a high percentage don’t survive the initial process.

Phase II - Manifestation: Permanent animalistic traits emerge, such as claws, scales, feathers.

Phase III - Shifting: Subject develops the ability to transform, initially triggered involuntarily by stress, fear, or injury.

Phase IV - Stabilisation: Subject gains reliable control over transformations and becomes eligible for field deployment.
