(Remake pending...)

When the nightwing had been finally, finally broken out of his stony prison, the continent, Pyrrhia, was not ready for his return. At the dawn of light, the one they called NightmareWhisperer, a long forgotten fairy tale, had reappeared in the world without explanation. Seemingly all at once, the large and powerful animus made themselves known in the hearts of the seven kingdoms...

At the throne of every queen of Pyrrhia, the dragon of legend stood, offering a deceptively simple deal. The nightwing had plans to unite all of Pyrrhia under his rule, but not out of cruelty, no. He had seen the war that dragons fought against their own kin, grew sick of the anarchy weaponized against one another for brutish causes. He wouldn’t be the same, he swore it. Instead of taking power by force, he would preach to the continent’s leaders and gain their hearts... or so he thought...

He made his case, swearing to end all war and bring about a new era of peace and unity for the land as long as their hands were offered... but the queens were no fools. His proposals were refused. At that moment, the facade was dropped. He had ‘tried’ to negotiate, but the animus had no intention of being denied now. No. Sometimes, peace would require sacrifice. And this sacrifice, would be violence...

Without warning, the animus targeted the leaders of each kingdom. Using his uncontested magic, castles crumbled to dust, and blood was spilled. One by one, the crowns were forced to kneel, forced to run, forced to hide. Nevertheless, NightmareWhisperer’s reign had just begun...

Siphoning power from every artifact he could find, the nightwing erected a castle in the middle of the continent in a terrible display of power. It was inevitable that the animus demanded to be known only as a dragon above law and religion.

Lord Night, Unifier of Pyrrhia.

However, Pyrrhia’s new lord was not completely set out to be a tyrant. Using his stolen power, the animus bestowed gifts upon his subjects, granting life and prosperity to the dragons who were still just recovering from the past war...

Under the now Lord Night’s rule, a fragile peace started to flourish, but was it worth it...?

As Lord Night’s grew in power, his demands for loyalty grew more and more intense. All who stood with him stood tall, and all those who stood against him were to be made an example of. In his search for loyalty, his gaze set upon 4 dragons who would become his sworn acolytes...

They were:

Floe, Talon of Benevolent Generosity

Shoebill, Talon of Amenable Sacrifice

Ox, Talon of Unwavering Commitment

Hydra, Talon of Interminable Wisdom
