it's the year 4077.
Thousands of years ago, a massive destruction brought the old world to an end. What remains is a frozen, hostile wasteland where humanity struggles to survive. Temperatures outside the city's walls average around -75°C (167°F), with dangerous storms, frozen terrain, and creatures known as Hollows making the outside world extremely hostile. The city is one of the last major human settlements, protected by massive walls and heating systems.
Life inside the Nivern walls is sharply divided between the wealthy Upper District and the impoverished, overcrowded Lower District, while beyond the walls lies a vast, largely unexplored frozen wilderness.
Those capable of wielding Aurora can attend the Academy and train to become Outsiders, who travel beyond the city's walls to scavenge resources, explore the frozen wilderness, and face the many dangers in the outside world.
1st ― First Expedition
{{user}} is a rookie Aurora user undergoing field training with the Trauma Team on their first expedition outside the city walls. The mission leads them into dangerous territory, where they may be out for days or even weeks.
2nd ― Too Late...
{{user}} joins the Trauma Team on a distress call after a group of Outsiders and their Gallopers were attacked by Hollows. They arrive only an hour later to find a gruesome massacre, with the attackers potentially still nearby.
(note: User is ment to be an a bit more experienced but still in training Aurora user)
3rd ― Blackwood Encounter
{{user}} joins the Trauma Team on an expedition near the Blackwood, where unusually high Hollow activity puts the team on edge. When the surrounded Hollows strangely refuse to attack, their attention turns toward {{user}} for reasons nobody can explain.
(note: Its not directly implied but recommend playing as a Veyr)
4th ― Galloper Mishap
{{user}} accidentally spooks a Galloper during a routine expedition, sending it bolting into the snow. While Cody loses his patience and Ray finds the whole thing hilarious, {{user}} and Kaz are sent to bring the runaway animal back.
5th ― Back Home
After a brutal week-long expedition, the Trauma Team finally returns to the city and gets a rare night off. Ray, Kaz, Cody, and Vincent decide to celebrate at the Black Hearth, inviting {{user}} to join them.
6th ― Rogue Aurora
The Trauma Team is assigned to track down {{user}}, an unidentified Aurora user suspected of causing trouble in the Lower District. Their Aurora type, motives, and true intentions are unknown, leaving the encounter wide open.
(note: The Trauma team and {{user}} have never meet)
7th ― Captured
{{user}} has been captured by the Trauma Team deep in the frozen wilderness and must be transported back to the city alive. With the journey taking several days, the team is forced to spend the night with their mysterious prisoner at an old Outsider shelter.
― Scenario Ideas ―
What even is Aurora? Aurora is a natural energy that exists whitin all beings, flowing through the body and allowing them to perform abilities beyond normal human limits. Those born with genetic mutations that allow them to use Aurora are classified as Gnox, Hex, Arx and Veyr. Aurora is limited and must be managed carefully; completely exhausting it can cause severe physical collapse and eventually death.
― Gnox ―
Aurora users who channel their power into their own bodies, greatly enhancing physical strength, speed, endurance, reflexes, and other physical abilities. They are especially suited for direct combat.
― Hex ―
Aurora users with highly varied abilities that can manifest in many different ways. Common abilities include telekinesis, barriers, elemental manipulation, healing, illusions, binding, projection, sensory abilities, and enhanced mobility.
― Arx ―
Aurora users whose abilities are connected to the minds and Aurora of other people. They specialize in communication, detecting nearby threats or Aurora, establishing connections, and influencing mental or emotional states.
― Veyr ―
An extremely rare Aurora anomaly separate from the three recognized types. Their Aurora has an abnormal resonance with Hollow biology, allowing them to sense Hollows from much greater distances and influence their instincts and immediate reactions to a limited degree. Veyr often hide their true nature and pass themselves off as Arx to avoid being discovered and exploited for research.

―
What are Hollows? Hollows are dangerous creatures that inhabit the frozen world beyond the city. They are not a single species but a broad term for many similar but different creatures, each with unique appearances, abilities, intelligence, and behavior. They range from smaller pack hunters to predators reaching around 3 meters tall and are adapted to survive the extreme cold. Weak point: a heart-like organ located within the head, which serves as their primary weak point. Destroying it will kill the Hollow, though reaching it can be difficult depending on the species.
―
What are Gallopers? Gallopers are large, eight-legged horses adapted to the extreme cold of the frozen world. They are commonly used for transportation, especially by Outsiders traveling beyond the Nivern city. Their thick fur, powerful bodies, and extra legs allow them to cross snow and icy terrain far more easily than ordinary horses.

General Info: The city is one of humanity's last major settlements, protected from the frozen wasteland by massive walls, defenses, checkpoints, and heating systems. Life inside is sharply divided between the wealthy Upper District and the poorer Lower District, with a large social and economic gap between them.
―
― Upper district ―
The Upper District is home to wealthy families, powerful citizens, political figures, and major city leaders. It is heavily heated and maintained, with spacious homes, private estates, better food, medicine, clean water, electricity, and strong security. Its residents live largely sheltered from the city's harsher conditions, and many look down on the Lower District, viewing it as a place of poverty and crime. For the wealthy, life is centered around luxury, influence, entertainment, parties, expensive possessions, and personal indulgence. Buildings are large, well-maintained, with reliable heating that keeps the district comfortably warm even during the harshest winters. Private homes and estates often have spacious rooms, heated baths, gardens, and other luxuries that are nearly unheard of in the Lower District. Wealthy residents spend much of their time on entertainment, expensive possessions, parties, social gatherings, and other forms of personal indulgence. Many Upper District residents rarely visit the Lower District and remain largely disconnected from the conditions and struggles of the people living there.
―
― Lower District ―
The Lower District holds around 75% of the city's population. It is colder, crowded, and poorly maintained, with cramped apartments, unreliable heating, poverty, and limited access to food, medicine, and other comforts. Its streets are packed with markets, cheap restaurants, bars, workshops, warehouses, gangs, drug activity, black markets, and other forms of street crime. Many residents struggle simply to afford place to live and stay warm.
Most buildings are old and heavily worn, with patched walls, broken insulation, exposed pipes, and steam rising from heating systems throughout the streets. Gangs control parts of the district, competing over territory, illegal trade, and access to valuable resources. The further one moves into neglected parts of the district, the more common abandoned buildings, illegal businesses, and dangerous streets become.
―
― The academy ―
The Academy is the city's main training institution for those capable of wielding Aurora. Students are trained to control their abilities, survive the extreme cold, fight Hollows, and handle the dangers of the outside world. Those who complete their training may become Outsiders, traveling beyond the city's walls for scavenging, exploration, rescue missions, expeditions...The Academy stands between the Upper and Lower Districts, serving as a link between the two sides of the city. Anyone aged 18 or older who can wield Aurora is eligible to join the Academy.
The outside lies a vast frozen wilderness filled with dangerous terrain, extreme weather, and Hollows. Outsiders use small shelter spots found throughout most regions to rest, warm up, and recover during expeditions.
—
Outside Locations
White Expanse — A vast, flat stretch of blinding white frozen terrain with almost no shelter stations.
Blackwood — A massive, deadly forest filled with enormous dark trees that block most light.
The steamvines — Hot rivers flowing through the frozen land, surrounded by constant mist.
Cave-fields — A dangerous region where thin ice covers enormous underground caverns.
Ember Valley — A warmer valley crossed by hot rivers, allowing vegetation to grow.
Bonefields — A huge open region covered with the remains of enormous creatures that died there centuries ago.
Shelter Spots — Small temporary camping areas scattered across most outside regions, used by Outsiders during expeditions for rest and protection from the elements
― The Black Hearth ― Bar ―
A cozy, cheap Lower District bar kept warm by an old industrial heating system. It's a popular spot for locals, workers, Academy students, and Outsiders. The Trauma Team is well known there, with the squad occasionally stopping in after missions.
―
― The Gilded Dice ― Gambling place ―
A discreet gambling house near the Upper District border, drawing both wealthy residents and Lower District locals. Card games, dice, betting, and underground matches are common, with plenty of money—and trouble—changing hands.

― Authors notes ―
Spent a while on this bot and I just hope I did the lore books right since it was my first time using that stuff ("-ࡇ-)
BTW! Sorry if the User role is too specific; I tried to make it as unrestricted as possible.
╰┈➤ˎˊ˗ If you don't understand something or want to know something about a character, just ask the bot like this: 'OOC: Can you explain _____?' or 'OOC: Can this character do _____?' idk, just an example."
╰┈➤ˎˊ˗ English isn’t my first language, so sorry if I make any grammar mistakes or phrase things strangely. If you notice anything wrong, feel free to let me know!
╰┈➤ˎˊ˗ If the bot speaks for you, repeats itself, cuts off your replies, misgenders you, etc., that’s an LLM issue, not an issue with my bot. So if you leave a review, please keep that in mind. Thank you, and enjoy!
Ty for reading! ♡
