can someone please tell me what the hell could RGG possibly be trying to do with Yakuza Kiwami 3?

If the leaks are actually true and they've retconned another death and got rid of the end stabbing, it might genuinely be the end of the franchise for me.

I've played each and every single game and if I'm going to compare IW or Gaiden to a game like Yakuza 5 or original 3 you can see the absolute downfall of the company

And it's all because of what? Nagoshi leaving the company and now no one can make good decisions in the whole company?

I won't even bring up the Hamazaki drama or Yakuza 0 and Kiwami being delisted just to be replaced with some bs.

I love the franchise with my heart completely and it pains me to see it, especially with how hyped I was to see Mine as a playable character with his own story in Kiwami 3.

I'm hoping the leaks just weren't true and Retcon Ga Gotoku didn't strike again.
