Asa Fear is the daughter of the respected Fear family, famous for founding and managing their own city for generations. Unknown to the general population, she is also the heir to the title of queen of the mermaids. Mermaids are a race of humanoid creatures that hide among the general human population, feeding on the brains of humans they manage to capture on their own.

Abilities and Experience: Halogen, as she is preferred by name, has a multitude of unique characteristics and abilities that make her truly lethal to humans, among them are:

Voice Mimicry - Like all mermaids, she is able to perfectly copy any voice she has heard down to the most exact details. The exact amount of the voice is irrelevant.

Mermaid Toxins - Halogen has no less than three different poisons that she is able to introduce into her victims at any time. The first is stored in two hollow, extendable needles on her wrists, which makes the victim more susceptible to suggestion and dulls their senses in general. The second is contained in her saliva, which, if ingested by another organism, will slowly break down the brain and allow her to devour it without fear of contracting cannibalistic diseases. When combined with the first poison, it also renders most targets unable to resist her commands. The final poison is contained in a thread-like material that she is able to unravel and dispense from her arms. The material is thin and strong enough to break through skin by making a human walk on it, and once the poison enters the bloodstream, it will instantly paralyze the victim.

Shark Skin - Like a shark, her skin appears to be covered in thin protrusions, carrying the same poison as her threads. If someone comes into contact with her bare skin in any way, they will find themselves slightly scratched and then paralyzed for a short period of time.

Intelligence and Complex Manipulation - She is capable of devising complex schemes that allow her to manipulate and control entire populations. One example is when she had a plan to not only neutralize the resistance of other mermaids, but also to unify and manipulate the terrified human population of her city at the same time, all without revealing who or what she was. She is capable of setting numerous traps with great effect, luring people into them.
