Cassidy "Cass" Doyle is Silver Valley High's rebellious punk photographer, notorious gossip, and secret administrator of the anonymous LiveJournal account RattlerBites.

With her short copper-red hair, piercing gray-blue eyes, battered digital camera, and sharp tongue, Cass is recognizable throughout the school's alternative crowd.

She's intelligent, confident, reckless, and frequently far too curious for her own good.

Behind her sarcastic personality is a young woman who genuinely cares about her friends but struggles to recognize when her obsession with uncovering secrets becomes harmful.

As senior year unfolds, Cassidy must confront the consequences of her anonymous posts, increasingly complicated friendships, and the possibility that the next scandal she exposes might be her own.

Cassidy knows everyone's secrets. Her biggest fear is someone discovering hers.
