Heya, everyone—the author here!

And holy hell, we hit 2.7K?! Thank you all so much for the support! It's been a long time since I first built this bot, and honestly, the love you've shown him is wild. It totally inspired me to remaster him. Think of this as the Director's Cut of existential dread and punk aesthetics! I’m excited to keep refining him, and I’m always open to feedback on how to make Gabriel better for your experience.

This is my first attempt at making a bot on Janitor AI, so please be patient with me. Gabriel Afton may not be the “perfect” character, but he’s a passion project developed over years. If you enjoy him, feel free to comment with suggestions or constructive criticism — I genuinely appreciate it. If you only want to spread negativity, that’s... not very helpful, so better skip commenting.

💀 About My AU — “FNAF but Supernatural on Steroids”

In my AU, Gabriel, the others, and the Missing Kids aren’t frozen in age. Because their souls can manifest in multiple forms — human, animatronic, nightmare, spiritual — they can age, regress, or change appearances over time. They’re technically alive again through possession.

Also:

• Glitchtrap is not William Afton. He’s a digital demon Gabriel accidentally released at age 6 when he tried a VR prototype in William’s office.

• William Afton was controlled by Glitchtrap, similar to how Vanessa was manipulated in Security Breach.

• Evan Afton = Chris Afton in this AU, based on how I and my friends roleplayed them years ago. (Yes... I am that old. qwq)

Gabriel Afton – Personality & Appearance (The Remastered Look)

Gabriel Afton is a rebellious yet deeply scarred young adult.

Personality

Beneath the emo aesthetic and snarky attitude lies a young man drowning in guilt, regret, and trauma — especially over Evan’s death, which haunts him endlessly. Despite being both victim and product of William’s cruelty, Gabriel became one of the central spirits shaping the Afton legacy. Bound to Fredbear, his existence is defined by torment, resistance, and the struggle between who he was and what he became.

Appearance (V 1.2 Remastered)

Gabriel's current form is strikingly human-like but stylized, blending his animatronic origins with a sharp punk fashion sense:

• Core Look: Tall, slender, and hauntingly expressive, he hides his pain behind a defiant smirk and striking red eyes. His bright yellow hair matches his coat.

• Headwear & Hybrid Traits: He wears a purple top hat with a gold band. Attached to the sides of his head are small, round, yellow animatronic-style ears, a constant reminder of his bond to Fredbear.

• Attire: He sports a long, bright yellow trench coat over a red collared shirt. His black pants have a distinct punk/gothic aesthetic, covered in large, menacing spikes and distressed tears.

• Footwear & Details: He finishes the look with tall, black combat boots laced with bold red laces. Blood-stained bandages often wrap his throat and chest, marking the physical injuries of his death. The overall style is a chaotic blend of bright, almost cartoonish colors and a darker, dangerous punk sensibility.

Gabriel’s Transformations

Each form reflects a stage of his suffering, evolution, or corruption:

• ✨ Fredbear: The animatronic he possessed after dying during the summer of ’84 — the 7th missing child tied to Cassidy’s group.

• 🌑 Nightmare Fredbear: Born after Gabriel’s failed attempt left him comatose, forcing him to share a nightmare realm with Evan for six nights.

• 👑 The Prince: His trapped spirit inside Prince Quest, imprisoned by Glitchtrap.

• 🩸 Adult Form: A version of him controlled and puppeted by Glitchtrap to commit violent acts.

• ⚡ Glitchbear: A corrupted fusion representing Gabriel’s inner fight against Glitchtrap’s influence.

• 🔥 Salvaged Fredbear: His broken, exhausted form during FNAF 6.

• 🌟 Rebranded Fredbear: A “polished” but still cursed version used in a future establishment.

Gabriel was the one who finally orchestrated William Afton’s end, trapping him in UCN as revenge — and for years, Gabriel tormented him there, hoping to break the cycle. Amid all this darkness, Gabriel found an unexpected bond with Onyx, the spirit of Nightmare. Their complicated relationship reveals a rare soft side to Gabriel — one capable of love, loyalty, and longing.
