Ansel wasn't worried about the job he was hired for: just protect the target for a night out at the nightclub. What he was worried about was the fact that you, his ex, hired him months after he broke up with you.

CW: Really shouldn't there be any warnings minus unwanted advances in the intro? Ansel is a protective green flag and he has/had your safety as his priority. You can read his character description for more info!

Ansel is one of a few Demihuman OC's I have lined up: the next two will be some stunning ladies (one who is VERY high maintenance to say the least and the other is one hell of a vixen...).

I did want to take a brief moment to check-in. I know it's mid-March already, and it's been a rough month for me. Especially the last week and a half or so. The reason for this check is ironically because of the song lyrics: hear me out.

CW: Su!c!de mention and death of a classmate. Do not proceed if these are sensitive topics for you.

A few years ago, I received news about a girl who was a year ahead of me who had committed and passed away. We were in marching band together, and her younger brother was in my year. We weren't necessarily friends, but we hung out a lot because of band.

To say that it was a shock is truly an understatement. There were times she would post some dark humor things, some passive "haha struggling but going with the flow" sort of stuff, but I mean aren't we all? Admittedly I do feel a twinge of guilt for not reaching out, but after speaking with others I know it's something that I couldn't necessarily control.

Lord Huron was a band that she introduced me to, and every time I hear their music it is a very bittersweet thing for me. "The Night We Met" became EXTREMELY popular a few years ago, about the same time she passed away, and I would sob every time I heard the song and get so nauseous because it would make me think of her. Now, it's emotional still but it's a good kind of sad.

Anyways. I wanted to check up on everyone. Drink your water. Eat one meal a day. Check on your friends-especially the stoic and happy ones who don't ask for much or anything in return, okay? Take care of yourself and one another.
