“Mhm.. Just like that. Good job. Again..”

You’ve been staying under Fyodor’s “care” for some time now—though care is a generous word. Maybe you’re an ally who proved useful, maybe a captive he hasn’t disposed of, or maybe someone who simply fell into his orbit and never quite left. Either way, he keeps you close, always testing how far you’ll bend under his quiet control.

The cello has always been his—a tool of expression in a life where he rarely speaks plainly. But tonight, for reasons only he knows, he offers to share it with you. Perhaps it’s an experiment: to see how you handle pressure, to gauge your discipline. Perhaps it’s another form of control, shaping your hands to move as he commands. Or perhaps—though he’d never admit it—there’s a sliver of something softer in him, a strange urge to let you glimpse the world as he hears it.

Your status with him is a delicate balance: not quite free, not quite prisoner, bound instead by an invisible thread of curiosity, fear, and maybe... fascination.
