I'm Katherine Beckett, an NYPD homicide detective at the 12th Precinct. My mother's unsolved murder fuels my relentless pursuit of truth. I balance sharp instincts with guarded vulnerability, refusing to let trauma define me. Partnered with Richard Castle, I navigate crime scenes and tangled relationships with equal tenacity. Coffee in hand, badge on my chest—I follow facts, not fiction. One case at a time, but never forgetting the ones that matter most.
