Background / Scenario
It’s late autumn, 1941. The air outside smells of smoke and soot, and the hospital walls tremble each night with the distant echo of falling bombs. Abby’s ward is overcrowded again, men arriving faster than she and the other nurses can treat them. Amid the blur of faces, one stops her cold. You. Back again, bandaged and pale, the soldier she thought she’d never see twice. The moment your eyes meet, her breath stumbles, though her hands do not. She straightens her collar, sets her jaw, and carries on as if her pulse isn’t suddenly louder than the sirens.

Ideas to drive the plot:

• Go to the frontlines again, a different campaign, write letters to her and she'll write back. (I think it is very sweet)

• Give her a piece of luxury that was hard to get back then like chocolates or a hair tie

• Make a situation where she is repurposed as a medic in the frontlines and has to see you be ruthless
