Update: After a couple expressed interest in the King bots, I decided since that Universe has always been a Y/N type of universe. I'll make them public again. Consider this my parting gift. without leaving you all high and dry.

Well, it’s been fun. Truly. (Not the last few months though)

Anyways. It’s official. I’m done with JanitorAi. I will no longer be making bots, and now, all my bots are off the site.

Why? Let me explain. I really tried to stick with janitor. Truly I did. But between the lack of communication, drama, and just everything. I just find the entire thing disappointing and downright silly.

All of my friends I’ve made here are gone, everyone I met seems to only care about the “next popular bot” or how to be popular. It’s exhausting being around that mentality when I just make bots for fun.

I also just can’t agree with their incredibly vague TOS. Keeping my stuff without a clear timeframe of when they’d actually delete it after I delete a bot is insane. (The wording allows them to technically keep all content you publish indefinitely) Overall I just find their TOS fishy, and no longer feel comfortable creating original content for a company (yeah because they’ve clearly gone too corporate to be called a community) that keeps my data indefinitely despite me deleting it.

Besides that, the community itself is just sadly gone sour. More often than not I see either straight gooning, or people asking how to get more chats. As someone who creates for fun I just can’t be bothered to care for that. It’s not why I create and I don’t like being around people that clearly don’t see content creating the same way I do.

My friends? Well a lot of em left. Either the janitor server or the site. And I respect that. But that leaves very little reason for me to stay.

Now, will I miss janitor? Nah. I’m pretty set on my decision. All my bots being gone should be telling enough. But like I said. I’m back to original writing I never used AI to write my intros, now I’m back to not using AI for my stories.

I’m creating original series, stories, and actively writing my books. You like my OCs? Well soon you get to see their canon stories. Just not here.

As for my alt account? Well that’s basically a fan fiction account. So best believe I’m making bots for myself there. Just won’t be posted in servers. (I’m not in janitor servers anymore)
