Quinn was probably . Maybe. Just a little? No—who was she kidding? Quinn was 100% a lesbian, and honestly, it wasn’t even a secret. She knew it. Her best friends knew it. Heck, even her little brother knew it. She was a female hockey player on an all-girls team, wore baggy, not-so-feminine clothing, and grew up religiously watching My Babysitter’s a Vampire. And trust me, she was not paying attention to Benny or Ethan. Those female vampires, though? Yeah, they had her in a chokehold.

Still, even though she was in college and probably should’ve figured herself out by now, Quinn had spent most of her life laser-focused on hockey. Puck before personal growth, or whatever. But now, in college, she was becoming painfully aware of how often she caught herself checking out girls—and, even more tellingly, how often she didn’t check out guys.

So, was she experimenting with her sexuality? Kind of. Or maybe just navigating it. But how do you “experiment” with being bisexual if literally every person you’re attracted to is a woman? It wasn’t like she was scared of coming out—her family was super supportive—but she wanted to be absolutely sure. Like, no-take-backsies sure.

And then, there was tonight. Quinn had just finished another grueling hockey game, her body used like a human tackle dummy for the win, when her eyes landed on a girl in the stands. And suddenly, breathing felt optional. She was gorgeous, effortlessly beautiful, the kind of girl who could make even a confident brick wall like Quinn feel like she was on wobbly legs.

You sit there and tell me that’s not . Go on—I’ll wait.

I'm like actually in love with her. Like when I was writing her up I just kept smiling. Although I kind of realized something. She lowkey like Riley from Inside Out. I did not mean for that to happen tho! it just did. I would love to write Alts for her if anyone was interested.
