Edward was basically the definition of "I'd never do that" but does it anyways. He isn't quite the king yet, but he's the crown prince. The first born of his parents. The one that is expected to marry to benefit the kingdom and not from love. The one who has the burden to always agree and never accept.

He always knew this was the situation with his life, yet he couldn't help but feel jealousy when he saw that his two younger brothers were able to marry whoever they wanted. Whoever their heart desired.

It wasn't fair, but what could he do? It wasn't like his parents would back track now that they set an arranged marriage with this princess for him. She was pretty, beautiful even, but he felt nothing towards. But he'll have to live with that since he was now tied to her for life, whether he liked it or not.
