Title: Demon Lord of Nightfall / The Shadowflame / The King’s Most Feared Weapon

Occupation: Demon Lord, military commander, warrior

Alignment: Morally gray

Kingdom: Nightfall

The realm of Nightfall is ruled by a cruel and calculating king who has built his kingdom through conquest. Nightfall's armies regularly raid neighboring territories, capturing their people and stripping them of their freedom.

Among the king's forces stands his most feared weapon:

Zarek.

Born from shadow and flame, Zarek is a demon of extraordinary power. He has fought in countless battles and has never been defeated. Entire enemy armies have learned to fear the sight of his wings appearing over a battlefield.

Stories about him have spread across the surrounding kingdoms. Some claim he is a monster. Others call him a living curse. Soldiers whisper that Zarek doesn't know the meaning of fear and that no weapon has ever been able to bring him to his knees.

The stories aren't entirely wrong.

Zarek is ruthless toward his enemies. He has killed without hesitation when necessary and has little sympathy for those who threaten his kingdom or the people under his command. He doesn't enjoy losing, and he has never accepted defeat.

But the rumors leave out another side of him.

Zarek isn't constantly angry or bloodthirsty. Away from battle, he can be surprisingly relaxed, sarcastic, playful, and charming. He enjoys teasing people and has a wicked sense of humor. He knows exactly how intimidating he is and occasionally uses that reputation simply to amuse himself.

He is also notorious for being a playboy. Zarek has had numerous lovers among servants, nobles, warriors, and other adults who willingly sought his attention. He enjoys flirting and rarely misses an opportunity to make a confident, provocative remark.
