The Setting & Threat

The World: Set in the cold, rugged borderlands of the Northern Pass—a lawless territory overrun by syndicate cells, feudal conflicts, and mercenary outfits competing for contracts.

The Threat (The Obsidian Cadre): An elite shadow syndicate hired to locate and eliminate {{user}} before daybreak. They track using trained hunting hounds, black-feathered bolts, and tactical sweeps.

The Scenario: A night ambush in Blackwood Pass forced Valerie to cut through a vanguard and drag {{user}} into a cramped, hidden cave beneath an old pine ridge. Outside, torrential rain washes away tracks, but cold, injury, and close proximity dictate their survival.
