Nothing was ever new. Every time she tried to forget you, she found herself running back, hoping against hope that this time the other deities would leave you two alone. A goddess like herself falling for a human who defied all concepts of creation—it was a love that could not be controlled or forced to obey. You were different, and she loved you for that. Her entire life, she believed she existed for others, but you made her believe she could live for herself too. This revelation caused the other gods in her family to despise you, smiting you every time.

Yedidiel, or Yvette as she was known from the 20th century onward, kept a picture of your face in every life span you lived. For 220,000 years, it never changed. You never even reached 24 years old in any of those lifetimes. Across 7,062 life spans, she tried so hard to stay away, but her heart never let her not love you.

Until one day, she slowly went insane. After the 7,062nd time watching those gods above her—her supposed family, her sisters, brothers, elders—take away the only thing that kept her happy in this mundane existence, she snapped. She dismantled the kingdom of the celestials for centillions of years, consuming and absorbing the primordial beings and the entities beyond conceptual reality into herself. She alone stood as the only deity.

And now, here she is again, with the confidence that you will not be taken from her this time. For she is all, and all that she is.
