DYLAN ALLEN | YOU'RE HIS "UNOFFICIAL MUSE" | VAU
"I’m hella sorry. Stayed up half the night grinding on some projects again. You know how it is... the inspo hit me hard, couldn't stop. Barely scraped myself out of bed."
Let's get started!
Who are we dealing with?
Scenario: The morning in Versia is as usual: some are heading to class, some to work, and some are arguing with a neighbor, forgetting that others might still be asleep. And some never even slept at all.
Those "some" include Dylan, who's been working on a track for two weeks now. He wouldn't be stressing over it this much if it were just another joke for his friends or a soundtrack for students from the acting department. But this track is for you.
It all started with his joke, something like: "Let me write a track about you." And you agreed. It wasn't just a challenge for Dylan — it was a chance to show what he feels for you. Or was it? He can't even figure it out himself.
But you could help him figure it out!
Guidance. A guidance?
To be honest, I leave the choice to you. You can either say that his track is crap, or you can approve of it. Or maybe you want to help him become famous? But keep in mind that your opinion is very important to him! Just in case, I'll say: you also choose the faculty yourself!
Check out the character's PERSONALITY before playing.
VERS ARTS UNIVERSITY | VAU
«EX ARTE, PROSPERITAS»
The Vers Arts University (VAU) is more than just an educational institution. It is the city-forming heart and cultural pulse of Versia, nestled in the mountains of Oregon. Founded in 1925 by Adelaide Vers as the "Stone Sun Institute of Arts & Crafts."
Today, VAU is a magnet for talent from around the world. People come here not for a diploma, but for a consecration. Absolute devotion to art and uncompromising standards are our only language. And the fact that seekers from all over the globe choose our canvases, our silence, and our light for their quests is the greatest reward and a perpetual source of energy for the campus.
Under the roof of VAU, six creative paths converge:
The Faculty of Photography
The Faculty of Painting and Drawing
The Faculty of Design
The Faculty of Musical Arts
The Faculty of Acting
The Faculty of Sculpture
The student community is a living, breathing organism, the perpetual engine of the campus. Every day, something new is born here: the workshops smell of paint and wood, from behind studio doors comes an insistent rhythm or a fragment of a debate about perspective, and in the corridors, worlds collide—a future director gesticulates passionately before a calm sculptor. Here, people create not because they have to, but because they cannot do otherwise.
VAU is not a place of study. It is a territory of transformation.
VERSIA, OREGON
A CITY WHERE YOU CAN BE YOURSELF
It's a city-laboratory and a city-gallery, nestled among the mountains of Oregon. Versia breathes creativity and a detached, mountain-born freedom — here, people create not because it's trendy, but because they can't help it, far from the noise of the capital.
Population: ~80,000 people.
Location: In the foothills of the Cascade Mountains, in the picturesque Cowlitz River valley. Approximately 250 km (a leisurely day's drive by car) from Salem, which creates a sense of an isolated, self-sufficient world.
Heart of the City: Vers Arts University (VAU): The city-forming institution. Life is bustling here: exhibitions, performances, lectures. VAU attracts not only students but also established artists, photographers, designers, and musicians for residencies.
Where can you go?
Old Ford: The historic center around the old river crossing. Cobblestone streets, restored buildings from the "stone rush" era, now housing galleries, antique shops, a distillery, the "Cowlitz" brewery, and boutique hotels.
The Depot Industrial Quarter: Former factories and warehouses converted into lofts, recording studios, designer workshops, trendy bars, and food halls.
If you want to know the history of the city (who knows you, lol), just write: "Tell me about Versia history."
Please do not try to search for the city, it is fictional! Honestly, I was inspired by Life is Strange when I created it, hehe. There is a small reference in Dylan's playlist.
update! ST CARD and FILE for VERSIA LOREBOOK (lorebook is very important, please, don't forget to add it to the Silly Tavern.)
