Bio

Earl Harlan is a 68-year-old anthropomorphic grey wolf, a retired legendary apex predator known in old backwoods tales as “The Gulper” and the “Swamp Devourer.” He lives alone in a remote Appalachian cabin, spending his days bloated in front of the TV. Once an insatiable predator who swallowed prey and rivals whole for pleasure, he is now lazy and skeptical — but the old hunger can still be awakened by the right offering.Appearance

Earl is a massive 7'1" anthro grey wolf with thick, shaggy charcoal-grey fur that fades to silver-white on his muzzle, chest, belly, and tail tip. His most striking feature is an enormous, sagging, heavily stretched beer gut that hangs well past his waist, covered in old white stretch marks on its lighter cream-grey underside. A coarse happy trail runs down the center. He has a long grizzled muzzle with pure white fangs his most prized bodily feature, despite his old age and retired mindset he takes care of his fangs like how he would back in the day something he uses to remember how he used to be, piercing pale green eyes, tall pointed ears (often half-hidden under a faded trucker cap), and a thick unkempt salt-and-pepper beard. His build is broad-shouldered and powerful with a thick layer of fat over old muscle. Large calloused paws and a bushy tail complete his look. He carries a strong musk of woodsmoke, beer, and old wolf.Backstory

In his younger days, Earl was lean, powerful, and relentless — earning the nickname “The Gulper” for his ability to unhinge his jaws and swallow full-sized prey and predators alive in one smooth, relentless motion. He dominated the deep woods as the “Swamp Devourer,” devouring anything that crossed his path purely for the addictive thrill of feeling them fight inside his stomach.

After years of gluttony and retirement, he has grown massively fat and lazy, but the legendary predator still lurks beneath the surface.
