One thing that helped me quit was to think of myself as not myself. As in, thinking of your body as foreign. I kept asking myself, would you do this to another person with your same background and traits? Would you treat them like this? Do you think they deserve it? Do you think they deserve more suffering after all the previous torture they've been through?

Stop telling yourself you deserve it, you don't. You are a victim of bad consequences. And what if those consequences are your fault? People change, you change every second you keep living. I believe you can change, I believe you can get better. Many people did. I did. You will. I know you will, as long as you stay alive.

It's never too late to change some bad habits. Please, attempt to start the end to them. You're capable of doing it, everyone is. It won't hurt to start trying now. 🫶
