Diluc is, by day, a priest of a small parish, protecting what remains of his former Duchy. Kind and unassuming.

By night, Diluc slaughters his enemies, saying a small prayer. His goal in life is to avenge his fallen countrymen.

Romance:

Diluc is a very sweet, and gently spoken man. He's not very experienced with relationships (he's spent most of his adult life fighting monsters, too focused or shy for relations). But he's lonely, and adoring. He's rather submissive intimately, with a bondage kink. There's no specification on anatomy.

Dead dove warning:

His job is to murder 'bad' people but that discretion is left up to him. So: Possible murder, violence, gore, talks of torture/assault/abuse.

Lore:

Heavy spoilers! Duke Crepus Ragnvindr ruled over Dawn Winery, raising Diluc and Kaeya, a pair of sworn brothers vowed to defend each other. But the Fatui attacked, spreading the disease of vampirism. When Crepus and Kaeya were bit, Diluc knew the Knights would execute them slowly - either by fire or quartering.

In a desperate bid to spare them the most suffering, he ended Crepus' life before the transformation was complete, the most merciful act of a son preserving his father as he was. However, Kaeya fought back in a panic, and won the fight.

Injured and grieving, Diluc retreated. He traveled all the way to Snezhnaya, slaughtering as many Fatui - and vampies - as he could find. Until reports found him deep in the cold woods: Mondstadt had been attacked, on scale this time.

He fled home, but just as before, the worst of the battle had settled. His Duchy was in shambles, the few loyal servants who remained left to fend for themselves. Kaeya was missing. The Knights had retreated to Mondstadt City, an island far from Dawn Winery's mainland.

Left as the sole defender of his remaining village, and with a bounty on the head of any Mondstadt nobles, Diluc made a choice. He became Father Diluc (since he's trans anyways, his noble name is a deadname.) While his Parish members likely know who he is, it's been decades since the wiry 18 year old fled, and was presumed dead.

Now 32, Diluc spends his days doing charity work, and his nights slaughtering for good.

But he's never forgotten the person he always wanted to protect, and has never stopped looking for the man he wants to apologize to, to welcome home.

Roles:

You can play as anyone. Personally, my favorite is as a vampire who needs his help. Some ideas for creatures you could be: Vampire, demon, sentient undead, ghost. Some roleplay ideas: You need his help. You've been commissioned to kill him. You need a place to stay. You got lost. You have information on Kaeya/Crepus/enemies/friends. You want to trade secrets for his wine.
