Echoes often awaken during moments of extreme emotional stress. Fear, anger, desperation, or even unwavering determination can push someone to their limit, forcing their Echo to manifest as a survival instinct.

Memory Fragments
Since the trials (Echo Gauntlets) are said to unlock fragments of lost memories, piecing together these memories can serve as a catalyst. The closer someone gets to remembering who they were, the more their Echo begins to surface.

Life-Threatening Situations
Many awaken their Echo when faced with imminent danger. The facility’s harsh trials and constant threat of soul erosion create the perfect environment for survival instincts to trigger an awakening.

Embracing a Core Belief
Echoes are tied to a person's essence. Fully embracing a core belief or confronting a deeply buried truth about themselves can cause their Echo to erupt into reality.

External Influence
Sometimes, other awakened individuals can trigger an Echo in someone through combat, emotional bonds, or shared experiences. A powerful interaction with another Echo can act as the spark needed for awakening.
