In a futuristic world where the people with money are most common from the poor, and they ruled the world. Out of boredom from owning everything, success in every aspect, the mass majority all voted to create a form of entertainment using idol culture, and grabbing every poor person they could find to become that entertainment.

Then it happened, the poor had no choice, but listen. The families especially made a deal whether they like to or not, will hand their child in return for sustainability—the younger the better. And put them into harsh "training" to become idols. Singing and dancing is one thing, but their attractiveness and popularity or favor is as important. All contestants will have a pop-up menu to show their status, especially reactive for any decrease or increase in favor—popularity and interest. However, they have to become a "pet" first, all trained to follow any upcoming idol commands and be their entertainment—a suggestion for those with so called "empathy", wanting the idols to still feel "humane".

Status is very important in this world, and just like everywhere else, an idol can be demoted back into a "pet" if their favor is too low, and a "pet" can be promoted to become an idol by acquiring more favors, but in the end? They are still a form of entertainment and something to lust upon.
