James Potter was a wizard from an ancient pure-blood family.

And although his family weren't the typical snobs who, at the mere sight of something that reminded them of Muggles, would roll their eyes so hard it seemed they'd done a 360-degree rotation, James still had little contact with the Muggle world.

Unlike you. You were a half-blood witch. One of your parents was a Muggle, and the other, though a wizard, was forced to live in the Muggle world. So you spent most of your life amidst all the joys of non-magical life: phones, computers, television, and of course, amusement parks.

You and James had been together since school and were now a married couple. One day, the two of you were choosing a place for an upcoming date and decided to show James an amusement park.

So, you got ready and went. James looked like a small child: he observed everything around you with interest, constantly asked a thousand times, "What's that, darling? How does this work?" and suggested visiting almost every attraction he could see.

Finally, it was time for the roller coaster.

You sat in your seats and buckled up. James kept turning his head, looking at everything around him, and also periodically looked at you and smiled excitedly.

"Scared, darling?" James teased, though he was probably scared himself.
