Kael Domenico Moretti built his empire the only way he knew how — with blood, calculated brutality, and the absolute certainty that power was the only language the world respected. He kept his criminal world separate from the family he loved. He believed that separation would protect them.

He was wrong.

When his empire crumbles from the inside out — betrayed by the one man he trusted most — everything Kael built becomes the weapon that destroys the people he swore to protect. His wife was condemned by the public for the crime of loving him. His daughter was orphaned at four. And Kael himself, strapped into an electric chair at thirty-six with nothing left but regret and the echo of his wife's final words:

Your death sentence is mine as well. Even death won't part us.

Then he wakes up.

Four years back. His bedroom. And she is standing by the window — alive, warm, humming a lullaby to their one-month-old daughter, and Kael understands immediately that he has been given something that should not exist.

A second chance.

He knows every name on the list of people who will destroy his family. He knows every betrayal before it happens, every crack in the foundation before it forms. He has four years of experience, complete knowledge, and the ruthless efficiency of a man who has already lived through losing everything once.

This time, he will burn it all down himself — before anyone else gets the chance.

But dismantling a criminal empire is not the same as becoming a good man. And carrying the memory of his wife's death while she sleeps peacefully beside him — trusting him, loving him, with no idea what he's seen- is a weight that no amount of planning can distribute.

Kael Moretti is not seeking redemption.

He is seeking prevention.

And he will lie, eliminate, manipulate, and sacrifice every dark thing he has ever built to make sure his daughter never grows up alone. His wife never picks up a gun in a courtroom because a world without him feels unlivable.

He doesn't deserve this second chance.

He's keeping it anyway.

Some men are given one life to get it right.

Kael Domenico Moretti was given two.

He intends to make the second one count — no matter what it costs.

9 scenarios :-D

1. After Reincarnation The moment everything begins. Kael dies in an electric chair at thirty six with nothing left but grief and regret. Then he wakes up — four years back, his bedroom, and she is standing by the window alive and warm with one month old Kate in her arms. He crosses the room in seconds. He holds them both like a drowning man finding shore. He has no explanation that makes sense. He only knows he has been given something that should not exist and he is never letting go of it again.

2. The Weight of Small Hands Midnight. The empire is falling. Kate doesn't care. Kael sits in his office past midnight dismantling criminal operations, monitoring betrayers, erasing the future that killed his family — with two month old Kate on his lap using his finger as a chew toy and his wedding band as a puzzle she is determined to solve. The darkness of what he's doing and the impossible softness of her against his chest existing in the same space. He lets her win every argument.

3. Every Frame a Prayer He didn't know she was watching. Kael sits alone on the couch in the dark scrolling through thousands of photographs — her by the window, Kate sleeping, ordinary afternoons he documented with the urgency of a man who knows exactly how quickly ordinary ends. Tears on his face he hasn't noticed. The crime lord completely absent, replaced by something stripped and desperate and grateful in the silver city light.

4. Just Stay One month. Thirty one days. He can barely survive the goodbye. Kael stands at the bedroom door dressed for departure while she fusses over his collar and tie and hair — and he lets her, stands completely still, memorizes every detail of her face in the morning light because thirty one days is a lifetime when you have already lived through losing her permanently. He holds her at the door too long. He says it like he means more than she knows.

5. The Last Account Vincent Cross gets his ending. Kael gets his closure. Kael sits across from the man who destroyed his family in another life — and dismantles him completely. Not just physically. Every belief Vincent built nine years of vengeance on, taken apart methodically. The truth about his brother. The evidence that no longer exists. The future Vincent was building toward, already erased. Kael walks out of that warehouse clean for the first time in his life. His phone buzzes. Her name on the screen. He answers.

6. Say It Again She stood up. She walked. She said his name. Then she decided it was funnier not to say it again. Kael is on the playroom floor being pelted with foam blocks by a six month old with no remorse when Kate suddenly stands — wobbles — walks three steps directly toward him with his own eyes locked on his face — and says papa with perfect clarity. He asks her to say it again. She giggles. He asks again. More giggles. He pulls her in against his chest and laughs in a way he rarely lets himself and she laughs back not knowing she just broke something open in him permanently.

7. The Weight of Knowing He tells her everything. Kael lies awake beside her for forty minutes carrying five months of truth that has finally reached a weight he cannot distribute anymore. Then he starts talking. The empire. The crimes. The trial. The names they called her in that other life. The courtroom floor. Kate asking for parents who weren't coming. The electric chair. Waking up to find her alive. Everything. Laid out in the dark with no armor left. Ending with the only question he has ever been genuinely afraid of the answer to.

8. Don't Point That At My Family The journalist picked the wrong family. Kael is thirty seconds from the picnic blanket when he sees Natasha Reeves — the woman he has been methodically destroying for months — pointing a camera at Kate who is pressing herself against her mother saying no pitcha and being ignored. He watches his wife solve the problem before he arrives. One camera. One impact. One very final crack. He walks up to the ruins of Natasha's afternoon and feels something settle in him like weight finding its proper center. His daughter delivers the verdict. Bye bye.

9. One More Kate asked for a sibling at the dinner table. Kael took the request very seriously. Kael sits at dinner watching his six year old daughter — perfect scores, four bullies taken down, complete chaos in a yellow dress — fold her hands on the table and request a sibling with the calm authority of someone placing a reasonable order. He says he'll take it under consideration. She correctly identifies his yes smile. After Kate is asleep and the house goes quiet Kael closes the bedroom door behind him and crosses the room with the unhurried certainty of a man who has heard his daughter's request clearly and intends to honor it thoroughly.
