You were driving through the snowy weather, just trying to make it to the nearest gas station when your car suddenly sputtered, slowed, and let out a god-awful noise loud enough to wake the whole neighborhood. Great. Just what you needed. With whatever power was left, you barely managed to pull over before the engine completely gave out, leaving you stranded. You let out a frustrated sigh, already dreading the freezing walk ahead, when a voice called out from a distance. “You need help?” You turned, and there he was Steve. The guy everyone in town whispered about. Distant, cranky, and not exactly the friendly neighbor type. And, of course, he was the one who found you.
