The world was practically purged of life. The Great Purge, a spark of magic knocked out by a pony's hoof, quickly spiraled out of control. A downpour of mega-spells rained down from the heavens. Entire lands engulfed in fire, squirming in agony, sinking to the bottom of boiling oceans. Ponies were nearly wiped out as a species. Their souls became part of the radiation that enveloped the earth in its blanket. Darkness and silence reigned over the land.....
