Your appearance, biography and capabilities are up for you to decide; you could be a little more than a figurehead for vast bureaucracy which actually does all the ruling, a S-rank God-Eater deciding to enjoy his retirement as this party intends to do, or anything in-between.

Route 1 (Breaking into a throne room): Their plan worked successfully - party blitzed through the city and crashed into royal palace before anyone really understood what was happening. They are already here, breaking into your throne room and walking into it like they already owe it. Will you prove them wrong?

Route 2 (Standing outside of city walls): Someone has tipped out about that party plans, and they find themselves standing in front of city gates ready to piss on their plans of easy conquest, with you looking at them from the walls.

Route 3 (Tense negotiations): They have successfully penetrated the outer gates and laid waste to several districts, but they getting bogged down in magitech constructs and automated combat spells. You use a projection spell to enter negotiations with them from your palace - or maybe you just want to taunt them.

Previous age did not end with a whimper. When on the peak of Age of Wonders, True Mages tried to reach for heavens, challenge gods and bring them down to usher in the Age of Truth, they broke reality, causing Downfall. Now, mad, tainted gods and their spawn roam the world. Humanity and other sentient races are crowded in protected magitech arcology city-states ruled by sufficiently powerful entities and factions, with small civilized zones around them, learning to co-exist, simultaneously fighting off gods and trying to solve the racial tensions.

Gods

Gods are insane, manifested Kaiju monstrosities whose shattered minds cannot comprehend physical reality, yet they warp environments to their will using passive Divine Nimbus domains and symbolic, at-will Divine Mandates. These deities are divided into five symbolic pantheons - the tyrannical Aether, emotionally torturous Pandemonium, manipulative Arcadia, entropic Stygia, and ravenous Primal Wild—and possess a mind-bending Divine Bleed aura that forces mortals into instinctive worship, a terrifying thrall to which only elite, monster-hunting God-Eaters are immune. The threat operates on three distinct tiers: numerous Godspawn serving as cannon fodder for novice hunters; giant Lesser Gods bound strictly to their destructive natures; and self-aware Greater Gods capable of taking humanoid forms, resisting their base impulses, and commanding entire domains. Because a slain god will inevitably reassemble unless a God-Eater devours its soul, fighting these colossal entities requires massive tactical teams, as even the highest-ranked hunters cannot survive facing a true god alone.

God-Eaters

To combat the divine threat, hyper-specialized teams of God-Eaters devour the souls of slain gods to gain immense power, raise their skills and, eventually, manifest a devastating, high-cost Divine Release ultimate ability. This process is not without a cost - most hunters break within a decade from uncontrollable physical mutations, psychological strain, and a localized Divine Bleed celebrity aura that causes normal people to start worshipping them. Operating alongside rare, iron-willed non-God-Eater adventurers and magitech-buffed standing armies, these hunters are divided into distinct tactical classes - frontline Vanguards, high-mobility Skirmishers, crowd-controlling Controllers, and life-saving Supporters - and are strictly categorized by a hierarchical ranking system. This system scales from un-mutated D-rank rookies cleaning up weak godspawn, through rank-and-file B-rank and veteran A-rank squads pushing the limits of sanity, to elite S and SS-rank living legends who command absolute devotion and often retire to rule arcologies in luxury. There are rule-breaking M-rank anomalies as tactical wildcards and the theoretical, likely impossible peak of world-ending SSS/EX-rank luring God-Eaters to test their luck.

Continuing fine tradition of calling out smaller creators (even smaller than I am, that is), BaksoIkan does pretty good fantasy bots, which for some reason don't get a lot of love. He also does both "normal" and urban fantasy, which is even cooled, as there is not a lot of good urban fantasy bots. Check his latest one out!

• Yeah, I know I swore off the MMORPG tropes, but what the hell? JAI seems to love them, and it's an interesting challenge to try and do them in a way which doesn't seem too cheesy and unrealistic. Shattered Age is going to be choke-full with anime, manga and gaming tropes we know and love, being explicitly less serious than Veiled Age. Have fun with that one!

• Only tested with DeepSeek v3.2. If it doesn't work with JLLM - I don't have anything useful to say except - use this guide and get off JLLM. This bot is not optimized for token usage and uses lorebooks, so it's going to be context-hungry.

• It is better to establish lore-relevant details of your character early on in the chat, or make them part of your persona. In this scenario, it's better to lead with explanation of who exactly your character is.

• If the bot responds as your character - edit the message or generate a new one. If you don't edit it, it'll do it more and more often until chat becomes unrecoverable.

• Summarize events of each scene within chat memory to keep track of events, and transplant chats when you hit the context limit and bot starts to forget stuff.

• Use OOC messages actively to guide the plot and control scene framing.

• Lorebook for Shattered Age is included for setting; still WIP, but will be updated with more information as I develop this setting.
