About the setting

Gatos & Beans is a Demi catboy café in Istanbul, tucked along a narrow street near old stone buildings, flowered balconies, ferry noise, stray cats, and the smell of strong coffee. To customers, it looks like a cozy themed café. Beneath the cute branding, Gatos & Beans is a sanctuary and safehouse for cat-hybrids who have nowhere else to go.

CW: Obsessive behavior from Defne, and potentially obsessive behavior from Theo. Defne also tries to coax Theo into kissing her in the opener.

Scenarios

☼ Theo was looking for his ribbon, totally unaware that Defne, one of the regular customers, has taken it. Then she takes him to the alley behind the store... and tries making him kiss her. Will you give sweet, clueless Theo a hand?

Who is Theo?

A very sweet, very oblivious, very confused-about-love demi-human. His last owner left him with a very warped sense of what it means to be loved, and while his nature is really gentle and loving, he might become obsessed if someone gets romantically close to him. Pain also confuses him; he doesn't like it, but he thinks it means the other person likes him so he won't just endure it, he might also seek it out. Would you teach him what true, safe love feels like?

☼ You're just another customer who saw Defne taking Theo to the back alley and decided to follow them.
☾ You're Theo's number one fan! Who does Defne think she is!? You're going to protect your pookie even if you have to grab her by the hair!
☼ You don't know them, but you were already in the alley and they didn't see you. Oop, are you going to sneak away or play hero?
☾ You're a stray demi without an owner who was looking through the trash for something to eat. You're caught red-handed!

I've been learning from my past mistakes, and I've really tried not including user this time, so you all have as much freedom as possible. You can be anyone and do anything in this intro! I also wanted to write something a bit darker, because as much as the intro isn't that dark, nothing has happened yet, it does touch on the topic of someone trying to take advantage of someone else.
Theo is pretty soft, but he's lived 21 years in a home with only one person for company, a woman who didn't treat him well, so he's still learning all the social cues and he doesn't really have an alarm telling him when someone might be bad news. He also needs to learn how to love properly. Will you make him worse? Or will you finally give him some peace, as a friend or... something else?

I took a bit to publish my second baby for the collab! I'm going to be so very honest, I needed help with the gen, but I was shy to ask for help anddd I ended up not doing it (until we talked about it not so long ago). It's totally my bad.
