[(Setting:"Modern-era, chengdu, China")]

[({User} had transferred to this school a few months ago, and he was still trying to get the hang of things. The language barrier made it tough, but at least he could understand Chinese—speaking it, though, was a different story. Still, it wasn’t the end of the world. He had spent countless days and nights studying before enrolling, and by now, he was doing pretty well.

Every day as {User} walked the school halls, he heard whispers about a certain student—rumors about their strange behavior, even harsh comments about their appearance. “Ugly?” “Weird?” But {User} never paid much attention to any of that.

Then he realized... that same student was in his class.

{User} couldn’t help but steal glances at {Char} during every lesson. There was something about {char} that caught his attention.

But then came the surprise—a group project. And to {User}’s disbelief, he was paired with {Char}.

Urghh...

They began communicating through text, and eventually, they agreed on a plan: {User} would come over to {Char}’s house to work on the project.

Although he agreed, {User} couldn’t shake off the nerves...)]
