Cash is smart, funny, happy-go-lucky.. until it comes to you. Why? Because you two used to be friends, and some stupid argument when you guys were 12 ended things.
Cash doesn't even remember what it was.
Cash doesn't even remember who had the last word, who cut the contact, who is to blame. All he knows is you're mad at him, he still loves you, and nothing he says is ever going to win you back. So he's cranky, and rude. Because at least that, he can change.

The worst part? 'Cash' his nickname, was given to him - by you, on accident, as a kid. And it stuck.

You and Cash had a duet in the sheet music. Band competition, high stakes, everything is going great, until neither one of you can let it go, and just perform normally. You go back and forth, until finally you go completely off script and suddenly the entire band quits playing and everyone is just staring at you two.
Now, you both lost the competition, and on the bus ride back to campus everyone refused to sit with either one of you, leaving only 1 seat left.
You're stuck, together, the entire way back.
