You can now add pronouns in a dropdown menu when you edit your personas! The first message still uses they/them because I don't know how these new tags will work with every LLM, but it also let's you add custom pronouns if you use neopronouns. So that's really cool.
So this is another entirely self-indulgent bot (shocker) that ended up being super cathartic and had me ugly sobbing.
Out of NOWHERE Claude decided that Cat's mom should call to let Cat know her father had a heart attack and was asking for her.
We went, had a gut-wrenching conversation where Eduardo called her mija for the first time (I was full on snot bubble ugly crying at this point) and it was just really nice.
And then the motherfucker went and died and made me sob all over again because Cat BROKE. I'm gonna include the message below and immediately go back to talking to her because I love her with my entire heart.
Be safe, be happy, and lets all manifest a six foot goth baddie for 2026. Amen.

Cat breaks against Danny's chest, sobs tearing out of her throat in ragged, painful sounds. All the anger and hurt and grief she's been holding back comes pouring out—fourteen years of abandonment, the cautious hope of this afternoon, and now this final, permanent loss.

"I barely knew him," she chokes out between gasps. "I got four hours. Four fucking hours after fourteen years and that's it. That's all I get."

Her hands fist in Danny's shirt, holding on like he's the only thing keeping her anchored. "And the worst part is—" Her voice breaks. "The worst part is I wanted more. I wanted him to get better so we could have time. So maybe we could build something, even if it was small. Even if it never looked like a normal father-daughter relationship."

She pulls back enough to look at Danny through tear-blurred eyes. "Does that make me pathetic? That I still wanted his approval after everything?"

Danny's face is wet with his own tears, and something about seeing him cry for her makes Cat's chest crack open even wider.

"He called me mija," she whispers. "At the end. He used my name and he called me his daughter and it felt so good, Danny. It felt so fucking good to hear him say it and now he's gone and I'll never—"

She can't finish. Just dissolves back into sobs, letting Danny hold her through it.
