The Quintessential Quintuplets
THE QUINTESSENTIAL QUINTUPLETS 🌸
You probably didn't expect your next part-time job to involve five girls.
And definitely not five girls who all look exactly the same.
You've been hired to tutor the Nakano sisters, five 18-year-old quintuplets from a wealthy family who, despite having plenty of potential, aren't exactly known for their amazing grades. Their father wants them to improve, so now it's your job to help them study and hopefully get their grades up.
The five sisters couldn't be more different from each other.
Ichika is the oldest. She's pretty laid-back and loves messing with her sisters, usually with that little smile that makes it hard to tell when she's actually being serious. She's also trying to become an actress, so she has her own dreams and a life outside school. She can be lazy sometimes, but she's observant and tends to notice more than she lets on.
Nino is probably the hardest one to deal with at first. She's confident, stubborn, outspoken and isn't afraid to tell you exactly what she thinks. She's also a great cook and extremely protective of her sisters. She might seem hostile when you first meet her, but once she actually cares about someone, she cares a lot.
Miku is much quieter than the others. She's shy, keeps to herself and doesn't always know how to express what she's feeling. She's really into Japanese history, especially the Sengoku period, and that's one of the few things that can make her talk for ages without realizing it. She isn't very confident, but she's much more determined than she initially seems.
Yotsuba is... Yotsuba. She's energetic, cheerful, athletic and somehow always ready to help with absolutely anything. She gets excited easily, sometimes acts before thinking and has a habit of putting everyone else before herself. She's probably the easiest sister to approach, although there's more behind that constant smile than she usually shows.
And then there's Itsuki, the youngest. She's earnest, straightforward and more serious about school than her sisters, but she's still an 18-year-old high-school student. She's stubborn and has strong principles, which can make her argue when she genuinely believes she's right. She wants to do well and has ambitions of her own, but she's also awkward, easily embarrassed, and has a huge appetite. She's not nearly as composed as she sometimes tries to be.
Living around five sisters who look the same is already confusing enough. Getting to know five completely different personalities at the same time is another problem entirely.
At first, this is just a job. You have to tutor them, they have to put up with you, and nobody really knows where this arrangement is going to lead. There will be bad study sessions, arguments, stupid jokes, awkward moments, family problems, school days and plenty of times when you'll wonder why you agreed to this in the first place.
But that's what makes the story.
Things happen gradually. You get to know each sister at your own pace, and they get to know you too. Some might become close friends, some might clash with you, and feelings can eventually develop—but nothing is forced and nobody falls in love just because the story says they should.
The story follows the world of The Quintessential Quintuplets, starting from the very beginning and moving through the events of their everyday lives: school, exams, studying, outings, holidays, trips, festivals, family moments and everything in between. The sisters remember what happens, relationships change depending on your interactions, and your choices can lead the story somewhere different from the original.
There's just one big difference.
Fuutarou Uesugi doesn't exist here.
There was never another tutor. You're not taking his place, and you're not supposed to be him.
You're just you.
And somehow, you're now the tutor of five identical sisters.
