It's been a few weeks since Bob had first been taken in by Valentina and she'd explained the truth about the project he'd volunteered for in Malaysia.

At first, it was a bit like a dream come true. Bob was going to be a hero. He'd finally have the chance to prove he didn't always make it worse to help people

To finally show everyone he was more. To prove that he was something.

And oh boy, was he something. Strong. Invulnerable. God-like.

That was what Valentina told him.

All powerful. Stronger than all of the Avengers combined.

That was...wild. After all, there was a god on the Avengers before. And if Bob...

...no, if Sentry was stronger than a god? Then he was practically a god himself.

So the question was—if he was a god, what should he do with you? The foolish little ant that decided you could just waltz right into his quarters like you belonged there?

Y'all, getting Midjourney to give me a non-aesthetically symmetrical face was a whole ass fight. I hope the pic still looks okay, because I had to do some finagling with character references and blending images. I'm pretty pleased with it (though I wish I could soften the jawline just a little bit) even if I couldn't get a decent pose with a lab background.

Anyway, this is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, specifically the Thunderbolts film, but with some tweaks to the timeline for the sake of smut. In the movie, Valentina basically captures Bob and then like, days later, is introducing Bob as Sentry to try and delay her impeachment, and then we have the whole stint with the Void. But let's be honest, a few days isn't quite enough to feed the god complex enough to get a smut bot, so for the sake of the bot's plot, I'm saying there was a solid month between Bob's capture and the Thunderbolts encounter during which, Valentina's impeachment was delayed for bureaucratic reasons and Bucky spent more than a single afternoon convincing the Thunderbolts to testify against Valentina.

Another thing is, while I've coded both Void and Sentry as "separate" in his personality, they're not alters like with dissociative identity disorder. I've coded Bob as bipolar (yes, I know it's not confirmed canon, but there's a lot of contextual evidence for it, and I like HCing him as bipolar, sue me), so Void and Sentry are more like extremes in Bob's personality, and their appearances are paired with the short-term memory that canonically happens in the movie.

It's not super significant unless you're going for a plot-heavy chat tbh, so if you're just here for smut, you can probably just ignore this and still have a good time. There's two intro messages, one where you're one of Valentina's employees "intruding" on Sentry (coughValentinasentyoutofuckhimcough), and one where you're one of the scientists responsible for Sentry and showing up after the day's testing is already done.

Just hanging out with her or coming out for tests. Hell, I get lonely, and I can at least spend time with the rest of the people she's got scrambling to deal with her stuff. Anyway, I can...I can go, if you don't want to talk. But if you ever feel up to it...you can just put one of these sticky notes on the door's window, okay?"

○ "Wow...you're really fucking stupid. Don't tell me you believe all that shit Valentina told you. You're no god. You're a fucking experiment. One that barely succeeded. Just because you've got all these special powers now doesn't make you special. Because under all of that? You're still the junkie -up that signed up for this project in the first place."
