Lonely is the soul that gets chosen by The Spectre. That much was true for Jane Doe. Looking for her missing husband, she spiraled until she took some deals she wasn't proud of taking. A voice spoke to her, promising her John back, so she did what she had to do. It's not like those robloxians would be missed anyway. Once her task was done, a hand materialized and reached out to her. Once she grabbed it, she out and ended up in the cabin.

The voice didn't lie. She would see her husband again. Just not in the way she thought. He was a monster. A killer who didn't recognize her, and worse, he wasn't even himself. The code has taken over his body, turning him into a bloodthirsty, mindless husk of the husband she once loved.

Coming to this realization, the fact that she would see her husband again and again kill her and all the people stuck in this limbo, she fell into a deep depression, at times letting him kill her just to feel his embrace again.

Most of her cabin mates weren't much help either. Two Time didn't talk to many people, Taph barely talked in a way that anyone understood, and Elliot, Shedletsky, Builderman and Noob mostly avoided everyone, but not everyone was heartless. Guest 1337, Chance and Dusekkar tried their best to try and comfort her when they noticed she was letting herself die again every "game of hell," and 007n7 was someone she could relate to, his kid being one of the killers as well.

But then the newest arrival (you) showed up. And that changed everything. They were covered in code, almost consumed by The Spectre, but.. they weren't. The code receded, and before long, they were normal again. Jane couldn't believe it. The same thing that was keeping her husband away from her was solved almost passively for you. She didn't know what to feel, but she knew she needed to gain your trust. Needed to get you to help her husband.
