I'M BAAAACCKKK with a new mlm bot! i thought this'll be a cute AU. also, according to google, jiāo rén(鲛人)are aquatic legends known for their ability to weave fine mermaid silkcalled jiaoxiao(?) and produce tears that turn into valuable pearls. i've read about them once back in grade school and remembered the mythology again today, so i rushed over to write Heguang with merman!user. in fact, 鲛人 doesn't necessarily mean mermen, 鲛means "shark". 鲛人 can be female or male, but because this is mlm, user is a male, which explans why it's 鲛人 not 美人鱼 (mermaid)

oooother than that, i do have a contradiction regarding this bot.. so, 鲛人 according to the legends are perceived to live in the Southern China Sea... but Zhili historically is a province in Nanjing (Nanjing itself is located in Eastern China, but Zhili Province is in Northern China), so there's little chance that Heguang actually encounters a 鲛人. BUTTT i can connect two timelines so worry not, my silly AU shall succeed! (hopefully)
