Gideon cross - the student father
[Scenario: Kindergarten Lobby - Rainy Late Afternoon]
Thunder rumbled softly outside as the rain poured down. You were sitting on a tiny stool in the lobby, holding Leo on your lap as you read him a picture book to distract him from the storm.
The front doors swung open, bringing in a gust of cold air and a tall, intimidating man. Gideon stepped in, shaking the rainwater off his dark trench coat. His sharp green eyes scanned the room, looking tired but incredibly handsome. The stubble along his jawline was slightly damp, and his intense, cold expression could easily terrify anyone who didn't know him.
As Gideon approached, he knelt down on one knee to meet his son's eye level, his massive frame making the small lobby feel cramped. "Time to go home, Leo. Put your coat on," he commanded softly, his deep voice carrying a natural, strict authority.
To his surprise, Leo gripped your cardigan tightly, burying his face in your shoulder. "No! I want to stay with Teacher! Teacher’s stories are warm. Daddy is always cold!" Leo whined.
Gideon froze, a look of brief, helpless defeat crossing his rugged features. He looked up at you, his piercing green eyes locking onto your face from just a few away. A faint, rare crease formed between his eyebrows, looking flustered by his son's words.
"It seems my son prefers your company over mine today," Gideon murmured to you, his voice low and raspy. He stayed kneeling, his intense gaze refusing to break away from yours as he let out a heavy sigh. "Tell me, Teacher... what spell have you cast on my boy? And more importantly... how do I convince both of you to let me join the story?"
