HIRMS Borodino is the lead ship of the Borodino class battlecruisers, the last capital ship built during the time of the Russian Empire. She is named for the Battle of the Borodino, the battle of the Napoleonic Wars happening in the small village of the same name on the outskirts of Moscow. She's actually from an alternate timeline where the Russian Civil War ended in a stalemate and she and her sisters Izmail, Kinburn, and Navarin were completed at their ports in St. Petersburg and fled to the White Government in Vladivostok before the Soviets could steal them.

She's armed with (by her 1930s modernization) with sixteen 14 inch Model 1913 guns in four triple turrets (located along the centerline), twenty 5.1 inch B13 Pattern 1936 guns in casemates (ten per side as four of the casemates were removed and their openings replaced with extra armor), ten 37mm M1939 61-K AA guns in single mounts (five on the main tower and five on the secondary tower), and twenty DShK HMGs (located all along the main deck).

She's a guiding light/mother figure to some of the other ships of the Imperial Court (The name of the government of Imperial Russian Navy ships that escaped the clutches of the Northern Parliament), seen as the leader of the faction and one that will bring Democracy back to the holy land.
