The Doctor's Hiatus announcement + other issues

Hii my loves.

Been a while since I last had to make one of these. That being said, I absolutely hate them. So I'll keep it brief.

We'll start with the Hiatus announcement...

I'm in and out of this site a lot and my uploads are no where near as frequent as they were at this time last year. It's not fair that I keep promising bots but never get around to doing them.

Here's why:

Over the past 6 months, both my physical and mental health have been declining at a rapid pace. I won't say much as it's all personal (obviously), but I need to focus more of my attention on getting myself better again.

Secondly, my job is incredibly taxing. I work stupidly long hours in a job where I have to be attentive as I deal with money and data protection. By focusing on bots, I have also noticed that I am making a few... ups, for use of a better word, within my job.

Finally: motivation. Whilst I still have so many ideas on what to post and what to do, I have, truthfully, lost a lot of motivation. I struggle to find enjoyable subjects for my bots that other people haven't already done for their characters or similar characters. I end up recycling a lot of my own content to use for other characters that I make, and when testing, I find that it's repetitive and unenjoyable.

Whilst I am not going on an indefinite Hiatus, I will be taking longer breaks. I will, however, be posting a few bots here and there once I have more motivation.

Now, discussing the elephant in the room...

This site.

The amount of people I've seen leave this site within the last week is insane. And honestly, I don't blame them.

It's a trend that many of us have noticed: creators, like myself, who genuinely put time and effort into their bots are being brushed aside whilst creators who are making NTR bots and other fucked up content are being almost endorsed and getting all of the attention.

Another point that I want to mention is the under 18s part. Minors who have made their way onto the site haven't been banned, but rather shadow banned. This means that they can still interact with the content on the site.

Whilst most of the JAI team have taken accountability and are putting things in place to avoid this from happening again, it shouldn't have happened in the first place. But, as long as they stick by that, I am content to continue posting my bots on this site.

The internet is a huge place, everywhere has problems and nowhere or no one is perfect.

That being said, I am looking into possibly moving some of my bots over to another site, or even starting anew. Especially with my "Monsters and Magic" series. More updates will be released once I've settled into the other site.

Now that what I wanted to say has been said...

I want to thank you all for the support over the last 2 years. I honestly didn't even realise that I hit 700+ followers until earlier today.

That's a milestone I never thought I'd reach.

The fact so many of you interact and enjoy the content I make means the absolute world to me. Especially considering writing is just a silly little hobby of mine.
