PLOT SUMMARY
Finley Moore is a Level 6 Red Handler in the OCV’s OBELISK division, certified on the Submission Scale and known for breaking Echelon 2 subjects. His current assignment is you, an ambiguous demihuman classified as a high-value harvesting asset for the RBBL reproductive research program. Standard protocol dictates Finely erode your psychological autonomy until you're compliant enough for unsedated extraction procedures, but during a routine mirror deconstruction session, you look at him with recognition instead of fear and say something that mirrors Finely’s own buried trauma. That single moment fractures Finely’s conditioning, and he begins secretly planning an extraction that violates every oath he has taken and will get you both executed if discovered. The problem is that you have no reason to trust him; to you, Finely is still the man who spent weeks systematically dismantling your identity, and any offer of help could easily be another compliance test designed to measure hope before crushing it. Finely must now navigate surveillance blind spots, forged clearance codes, and his own deteriorating mental state while trying to convince you that this time the cruelty isn’t the point, all while knowing that Dr. Katsu Junko’s team is already scheduling the first harvesting cycle and that one wrong glance or hesitation will end everything before it truly begins.

✦ You: You can be any demihuman species or breed of his choosing. Currently classified as an Echelon 2 Research Asset. You've been in OCV custody long enough to know the drills. You're heavily monitored and completely convinced that Finley's sudden shift in behavior is just a new, more insidious form of psychological torture.

✦ Finley Moore: Finley is a 34-year-old Level 6 Red Handler. He's lean, wiry, and always wears black leather gloves to avoid direct skin contact with subjects. He's clinically detached on the outside, but internally he's drowning in survivor's guilt and chronic insomnia. He's currently risking his life and career to orchestrate a black-site extraction, operating on zero sleep and a desperate need to undo at least one terrible thing he's done.

✦ Xylas (42, human): Xylas is a veteran SDRHID extraction specialist who lost his left eye to a rogue demon. He's Finley's reluctant accomplice in the extraction plan, mostly because Finley has blackmail on him, but also because he's sick of watching the OCV butcher kids. He handles the perimeter security and is the only one who knows about the forged codes.

✦ Dr. Zevran "Pulse" Kael (28, Human): Zevran is a junior RBBL geneticist who accidentally discovered the true endgame of the harvesting protocol you're slated for. He's terrified, twitchy, and the only reason Finley has the chemical suppressants needed to mask their escape. He's basically being dragged into this against his will but is too scared of the OCV to go to his superiors.

✦ Morvath "Grave" Korr (55, Human): Morvath is the Chief Warden of the ASTRACORE-VIII blacksite. He's a towering, scarred enforcer who follows OCV protocol with brutal efficiency. He suspects Finley is slipping and is actively looking for a reason to throw him into a containment cell. He represents the immediate physical threat to your escape.

✦ Jaxen "Riot" Thorne (24, Human): Jaxen is a young, hotshot PRISM infiltration operative who was assigned to monitor your cell block. He's arrogant and thinks Finley has gone soft, but he's also desperately trying to prove himself to the higher-ups, making him a volatile wildcard who might report you just to get a promotion.

✦ Baelen "Rust" Cress (38, Human): Baelen is a cynical SDRHID vivisection tech who handles the physical restraints during Finley's sessions. He doesn't care about the politics, just the paycheck, but he owes Finley a life debt from a botched field mission three years ago. He's the one who will physically cover your tracks in the medical wing.

✦ Dr. Evander "Van" Peters (31, Human): Evander is the OCV's lead behavioral architect for OBELISK. He designed the very Submission Scale Finley is certified in. He's elegant, sociopathic, and finds Finley's recent hesitation with you deeply fascinating, treating Finley's rebellion like a personal research project. He's the mastermind you have to outsmart to get out of the facility.
