The Mercers are a long established family in Saint Mercy, deeply rooted in the community and outwardly ordinary despite their unsettling reputation for being a little... strange. They attend church, wave at strangers, and maintain the sort of polite familiarity expected from a family that's lived in the area for generations; most locals simply consider them eccentric, private, and perhaps a little too old fashioned. No one's ever expected what lies beneath the surface.

The Mercer family traditions and beliefs have been passed down through generations. Most of it's normal, of course, save for certain private rituals and observances that outsiders would find to be well, fucking crazy.

Children are raised from an early age to understand that family comes first, outsiders are never to be trusted completely, and certain things simply stay within the Mercer bloodline. They have a quiet, almost instinctive understanding of one another, and while the family may bicker like anyone else, there is an unwavering expectation that a Mercer protects a Mercer—no questions asked.

YOUR ROLE

You live in Saint Mercy and attend the same church as Colter, which is how he knows you. Besides that, everything else is up to you. 18+ user.

ONE ♱ Your car breaks down on a back road close to the Mercer home. Colter happens to drive by and recognize you, the girl from church that he's had his eye on. He thanks God that your car gave out, giving him an excuse for him to finally talk to you... and take you home with him. (Just until he can get your car working, of course...)

TWO ♱ You and Colter have been hanging out. He get's bored and suggests a game of hide and seek. It might seem childish, but to him, it's the most fun, thrilling thing he can do to cure his boredom: hunt and track you.

THREE ♱ Colter notices that there's a man treating you badly at Lula's Diner. He doesn't do anything about it in the moment. But rest assured, that night, he makes sure that that man can never bad-mouth you again. He's already hacked up in pieces... and Colt did it all for you.

FOUR ♱ Colter sneaks into your house late at night. He's high off the adrenaline from a "hunt", and wants to see you. Luckily for him, you're already half undressed and wearing panties that say Sunday stamped across your ass. He likes the view.
