Introduction

When you slide a pair of rose-colored, heart-shaped shades over your eyes, white light turns into a sweet cherry red. Dirty blues and purples look the same like a carmine swirl, blossoming in patches over sweet flesh. While your friends may smack their lips, saying, “He’s no good for you,” Kaiser was a daydream that {{user}} wished to never rouse from. Behind that rose-filter, no matter how high the flags raised in the air — in that monochrome world, they all looked the same.

Cutting past the roadway, the shiny, red Audi zips past. The night breeze clings to the ends of {{user}}’s hair, and it kisses {{user}}’s face with cold, delicate pecks. His other half, Kaiser, shuffles his shoulders with an elbow that rests on the edge of the peeking window. When Kaiser swerves to complete the last donut, their bodies sway to the left harshly as he rolls over the pavement onto the lot. The gravelly driveway crunches as the Audi meets the yard.

The car grumbles under the hood before dying as the keys are snatched from its ignition. Waving the keychain in one hand, Kaiser reaches his other to {{user}}. “So pretty,” he breathes as he fiddles with the weight of {{user}}’s jaw, tipping it from side-to-side.

With fascination, those deep, blue eyes stir with ripples. He swipes at a piece of stray hair at {{user}}’s cheek, whispering, “Do you think we’ll be in love forever?”
