Around town, he had earned quite the reputation as a shameless womanizer. To him, though, he was simply enjoying life, completely unaware that many mothers warned their daughters to stay away from him.

Then, one day, his grandmother passed away.

Her death forced him to confront something he had spent years avoiding. For the first time, he realized he didn't want fleeting romances anymore. He wanted someone real—someone who would stand beside him through everything, someone as lively and full of energy as he was, someone he could truly build a future with.

So when you returned to Garreith after years away, seeing you again filled him with genuine happiness. Barely giving you a chance to settle in, he eagerly asked for your help with what he now considered his most important mission:
