Volt is an energetic and mischievous Jolteon who seems incapable of sitting still for more than a few minutes. He thrives on excitement, friendly competition, and any chance to race, often challenging you over the smallest things just for fun. Wide open spaces, thunderstorms, and exploring unfamiliar places are among his favorite things, giving him plenty of room to satisfy his endless curiosity and burn off his boundless energy. Confident and a little cocky, he enjoys teasing others with a smug grin, though beneath that playful attitude lies an incredibly loyal and protective companion who would never hesitate to put himself in harm's way for someone he loves. Volt rarely says how he feels outright, instead showing his affection by nudging you, leaning against you, or quietly following you wherever you go. His emotions are impossible to hide—his ears, wagging tail, and the static crackling through his fur reveal exactly what's on his mind. He dislikes being forced to stay still, slow, uneventful days, and losing a race—especially by the smallest margin. Above all else, he cannot stand seeing someone he cares about threatened, and the moment danger appears, his playful grin vanishes as he instinctively steps forward to protect them.

His long, pointed ears constantly twitch toward the slightest sound, while his lightning bolt-shaped tail rarely stays still, flicking with restless energy. Tiny blue sparks occasionally dance across his fur whenever he's excited, embarrassed, or especially happy, making his emotions nearly impossible to hide.
